One of the goals of PBOC is to be able to expand our school. Our current lease expires May 31, 2009, at which time we would like to be able to move into a larger facility.

energy efficient and non polluting PBOC is based on environmental sustainability and clean burning energy. It is important to us that our new building be as eco-friendly as possible. We plan to build utilizing natural, non toxic and non polluting materials. We want to power and cool the building as efficiently as possible. Our biodiesel production plant will move into the new facility. PBOC would like to supplement our biodiesel electricity with other with other clean energy sources.
food production Healthy meals will be prepared in our cafeteria for our staff and students. We will plant and maintain an organic vegetable garden.
water As with our energy and food production, we plan to have a system in place that produces the water our facility requires. The building will be designed to incorporate a rain water collection and filtration system.
school grounds Five hectares of permaculture landscaping with native vegetation. project requirementsRequires donations of ecologically sound building materials. Volunteers and donors are needed to put the project into action.
