Toxic Material Removal
Cambodia uses a significant amount of Styrofoam for food packaging.  The majority of this gets burned in open fires, releasing toxic smoke into the atmosphere.

PBOC is collecting Styrofoam as part of our recycling program. 

We are building a public pier in Sihanoukville and are looking for other ideas to utilize Styrofoam. 

Requirements:

  • Ecologically friendly
  • Simple to operate 
  • Low cost

A goal of PBOC is to replace as much of the Styrofoam in Cambodia as possible with eco-friendly containers.
