Cambodia 7 Day Visit

 

 Day 1 Siem Reap
   
A beautiful city with the amazing Angkor Wat right next door.

Siem Reap offers great food and a vibrant atmosphere.

Arrival  

We will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel for some rest and relaxation.

In the evening, our group will go for a short sightseeing tour of Siem Reap before stopping for a delicious meal.

  

 

Day 2 - Temple Tours

We start our visit with the great Angkor Wat, a masterpiece of Khmer architecture and design.


On to Ta Prohn, the temple fighting the forces of nature, before going to view the enigmatic faces of the Bayon.

Our temple tour concludes exploring the fabulous stone carvings of Banteay Srei.

Evening

We enjoy a traditional Aspara dance performance. 

   

 

 

Day 3 - Phnom Penh

We start the day by travelling the scenic road from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. 

Our guests then have the choice of shopping in the local markets or visiting some of the cities tragic historical sites.

We visit the Tuol Sleng museum and Choeung Elk Killing Fields.

Markets of Phnom Penh

We take you to the two of the biggest markets in Cambodia - Psa Thmei (New Market) and Psa Tool Toom Pong (Russian Market).

You will have a chance to purchase clothing and collectibles at bargain prices.

Evening Phnom Penh - Riverfront  

Phnom Penh is situated at the confluence of three great rivers - the Mekong, the Tonle Sap and the Bassac.

An evening stroll down the riverfront is an experience not to be missed.

Day 4 - Relax on the Beach 

After breakfast in Phnom Penh, we make the scenic drive to the white sand beaches of the Gulf of Thailand.

   

 Day 5 - Sihanoukville

Today our guests have a choice. You can go to the islands for swimming and snorkeling or go to visit Ream National Park.

 Islands Tour

Climb aboard a biodiesel powered boat for an island hopping trip.

 Plenty of opportunities for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing.

 
 

 Ream National Park

Open since 1993, Ream encompasses 21,000 hectares, including 6,000 hectares of marine habitat.

Normally our visitors see dolphins, eagles, osprey, first generation rain-forest and beautiful mangroves.

Day 6 - Visit Our School 

This morning guests of PBOC enjoy breakfast at the school.

After a nice meal we make the trip to Phnom Penh.

Day 6 Afternoon - Phnom Penh Sightseeing

The Royal Palace

This is the official residence of the King of Cambodia - the spectacular Royal Palace. 

Silver Pagoda

The Silver Pagoda has a floor covered with 5,000 silver tiles, each weighing over 1 kilogram. The walls are decorated with jewelled masks and a life size Buddha covered with 9,584 diamonds.

Wat Phnom

Situated in the center of a beautiful wooded park, this is the home of the beloved elephant who is the unofficial mascot of Cambodia.

 The National Museum

Designed by French architect George Glosier in 1917, the National Museum is dedicated to Khmer arts.

 Day 7 - Time to Return Home

We see you safely off to Pochentong Airport.
